Mark is a Christchurch artist who’s after building a coffee roaster when he was 17, discovered the art of business.
Nowadays, when Mark is not running his coffee empire, you’ll find him chatting about the 300 million ideas he has spinning in his head.
Nonetheless, Mark’s real talent is to connect communities and through collaboration, create memorable experiences.
Mariana Jacinto
Mariana is the organised-mind behind Chirny. Originally from Portugal, she calls New Zealand home for over 6 years now.
After a few years in the corporate and NFP world, working in Marketing focusing on social media and lead generation, she took her entrepreneurial aspirations to the next level and started helping business owners navigate what to do with their marketing budgets.
Nowadays she runs the marketing for a few brands, while having fun organising concerts and events with Mark.

After building a coffee roaster out of a rubbish bin and BBQ when Mark was 17 years old. “The idea of creating fresh, high quality coffee for friends and family excited me. So I created my own roaster and imported beans from all over the world in order to craft the perfect blend.
I have since upgraded to a commercial coffee roaster and offer my specialty coffee to the public! You will taste the difference!”
